The small village of Frascole has medieval origins and was built over older constructions of Etruscan and Roman origins.
The farmhouse is set amidst splendid vineyards and olive orchards.
The Frascole farm extends over almost a hundred hectares of land, cultivated with vineyards, olive trees and grains. The farm producdes Chianti Rufina DOCG red wines and extra virgin olive oil.
The Mugello
The farmhouse is located in the Vico farmstead, a short distance from the S. Jacope a Frascole Parish in the commune of Dicomano.
The farmhouse lies just 30 kilometers from Florence and in an excellent position from which to visit the villages of both Mugello and Casentino.
Services offered
The Tuscan farm offers guests the use of an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by olive trees and protected from the wind. The pool is located in a beautiful natural terrace from which it is possible to enjoy a splendid view over the valley.
Around the pool, guests can enjoy the outdoors sitting around the tables, deck chairs and resting under the sun umbrellas.
What to do: at the farm and nearby
Upon request, guests can enjoy tastings of local products and wine tastings of the farm's wines.
It is easy to quickly reach Florence and the most beautiful villages in Mugello and the Casentino valley from the farmhouse.
A few kilometers from the farm, guests can enjoy shopping at the McArthurGlen shopping outlet in Barberino di Mugello and at The Mall in Reggello.
In under 30 km from the farm you'll also find the Mugello Race Circuit and the Poggio de' Medici Golf Club.
General conditions
During high season, the apartments are generally rented from Saturday to Saturday, but in other seasons it is possible to rent the apartments for shorter days and starting on other days.
The linen for the rooms and bathroom is changed weekly.
