Fattoria il Lago offers an opportunity to spend your holidays in a real Tuscany farm a few kilometers from Florence. The farmhouse offers 11 apartments and a large villa from which to enjoy a relaxing holiday in the Tuscan countryside.

The apartments have all been restored, and each one has its own private entrance and garden.

The apartmetns are finely furnished in rustic Tuscan furnishings and include a fireplace and independent heating systems. The ceilings have oak beams and floors have typical Tuscan terracotta tiles. All the eletrical equipment in the apartments are well cared after and efficient. Bed and bath linen is provided and changed every week.

The farm is only 2 km from the small town of Dicomano. The town has good Tuscan restaurants, pubs, shops and supermarkets.

Florence is 35 km from Dicomano, reachable in only 40 minutes by car or with an easy train ride.

The farmhouse offers many services to make guests feel at home and comfortable. The farm offers winery tours and tastings of its own wines. Guests can fish at the two lakes on the farm's properties, go hiking along the posted paths, enjoy massages, request traditional Tuscan cooking lessons or relax by the swimming pool. The farm has a children's play area, as well as a recreational room, and internet access in the main reception building.

Guests can enjoy tennis or horseback riding, as well as visits to a local cheese factory. There are also many small villages in the area that are perfect for enjoying Tuscan living.

Rentals are weekly, check in is between 5-8pm on Saturdays and check out by 10am on the following Saturday.
